SPIRITUALITY VS CARNALITY
✅One of the major problems in Christian circles is lack of spirituality.
Romans 8:6
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
✅Carnality makes you not to enjoy the supernatural.
Rom 8:7
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
Romans 8:8
So then They that are in the flesh cannot please God.
✅Carnality is bad.
✅Carnality is a killer.
Romans 8:10
And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
Romans 8:11
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
✅Allow the Holy Spirit to perambulate your body
PERAMBULATE
transitive verb
1) To travel over or through especially on foot (traverse).
2) To make an official inspection of (a boundary) on foot.
✅Allow the Holy Spirit to make official inspection of your body boundary.
✅To do well is to do things through the Holy Spirit.
✅Carnality is a great killer in the body of Christ.
✅What place have you given to the Holy Spirit in your life?
✅You need to mortify the deeds of the flesh by the Holy Spirit.
✅Carnality makes people not to tithe.
✅People put themselves under unnecessary pressures in life because of carnality.
✅Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom and in all your getting, get understanding.
Romans 8:14
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Romans 8:15
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Romans 8:16
The Spirit Him self beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
✅It takes spirituality to manhandle carnality.
✅God wants us to be masters in the spiritual realm.
John 10:35
If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
Psalm 82:5
They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
✅The world is out of course because believers have not taken their rightful places in life and destiny.
✅Let us wake up to our responsibility.
Psalm 82:6
I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
Psalm 82:7
But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
FUNCTIONS OF THE MIND
1) MEMORY
✅Play your painful past so that you avoid going back to the old life.
✅Play your good past life to inspire you to move forward.
2) IMAGINATIONS
✅Imagination plays pictures of the future.
✅Your imagination is the camera of your future.
✅The future you want to go to, create pictures and put them before you.
✅If you cannot see where you are going, Satan will bring you pictures of your painful past.
✅Whatever you can imagine, you can do.
✅Strengthen your imagination by confessing the word of God.
Genesis 11:5
And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
✅God equates your imagination to reality.
✅Make your way prosperous by your good imaginations.
Genesis 6:5
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
✅God looks at your imagination.
✅See yourself as a distributor of Resources.
✅If you can never imagine aircraft, you will never have one.
✅Whatever you cannot imagine, you can never have.
✅If you cannot imagine a better tomorrow, you will always be sad.
✅Have good imaginations about your future.
✅Your mind is elasticated, it can go beyond where you are now.
✅If you imagine sickness, you will be sick.
✅If you imagine poor, you will be poor.
✅If you imagine sufferings, you will be suffering.
✅If you imagine death, you will soon die.
✅If you imagine backsliding,you will soon backslide.
