THE SPIRIT OF SACRIFICE 

John 12:24 

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

John 12:25 

He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

John 12:26  If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

✅If you want to serve the Lord, follow Him. 

✅You will be honourred for serving the Lord. 

John 12:27  

Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.

John 10:17 

Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

✅If you want a Great life, sacrifice is the way forward. 

✅Somebody had to sacrifice in order to gain independence. 

✅Responsibility is the only pathway to greatness. 

John 10:18 

No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

✅You cannot live a fruitful Christian life without sacrifice. 

✅The Spirit of sacrifice makes you do unusual things 

✅Without sacrifice, you will never know the essence of real power. 

✅SACRIFICE WHETHER GOOD OR EVIL, IT RELEASES POWER. 

Phillippians 2:8 

And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

1 Corinthian  1:18 

 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

✅Resurrection power is higher than the power that died. 

Philippians 3:10 

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

✅If you can conform to His death, you can conform to His resurrection. 

✅Where s your life connected to? 

✅Where are you sacrificing? 

✅Tap into the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. 

✅No glory is ever released without sacrifice. 

1Peter 5:10 

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

✅No sacrifice, no settlement 

2 Kings  3:26

 And when the king of Moab saw that the battle was too sore for him, he took with him seven hundred men that drew swords, to break through even unto the king of Edom: but they could not.

2 Kings 3:27 

Then he took his eldest son that should have reigned in his stead, and offered him for a burnt offering upon the wall. And there was great indignation against Israel: and they departed from him, and returned to their own land.

✅Sacrifice releases tremendous power. 

✅God responds to sacrifice. 

✅Many Christians fail God through Sacrifice. 

2 Chronicles  7:4 

 Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before the LORD.

✅Only foolish people stop doing what is working. 

2 Chronicles  7:5

And king Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty and two thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep: so the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.

✅Sacrifice attracts God. 

✅Whatever you are not willing to sacrifice, will never multiply. 

2Ch 7:12 KJV And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.

✅Wherever sacrifice is offered,  God is attracted 

✅Wherever sacrifice is offered,  God chooses to dwell there. 

✅There is no glorification without sacrifice. 

Genesis 22:1

 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.

✅Your lack of sacrifice brings sufferings. 

✅Sacrifice leads to enactment of Covenants. 

✅God is after your life when He is asking you to sacrifice 

✅The aim of sacrifice is to take you up. 

✅God always responds to sacrifice. 

Genesis 22:2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

Gen 22:17 KJV That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

✅Sacrifice releases the blessing 

✅Sacrifice releases rapid increase or multiplication.

✅Sacrifice empowers you to defeat your enemies permanently. 

✅There is always a gate to your next level of glory. 

THE POWER OF SACRIFICE 

1) It releases power for people to follow you

2) It releases power for people to be committed to you. 

3) It makes people to be convinced with what you say. 

✅Sacrifice will always be resisted. 

Daniel 8:11 

 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.

✅If sacrifice is removed from your life, you remain powerless.

Daniel 8:12  And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.

Daniel 8:13  Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?

✅When sacrifice is removed from the Sanctuary, what will remain there is desolation. 

ENEMIES OF SACRIFICE 

1) The spirit of Antichrist 

2) Judas Iscariot 

John 12:4

 Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him,

John 12:5 

Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?

3) Satan

Matthew 16:23 

 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

✅Sacrifice breaks the back of the devil. 

✅For you to successfully pay your sacrifices, you must be spiritual. 

✅Every time there is a call for sacrifice, the enemy will put so much pressure on you so that you don't fulfill your sacrifices. 

✅People that carry power are sacrificial. 

✅Those who hate sacrifice will remain at the same balance with the devil. 

✅Miracle jobs are released

✅Breakthroughs of all kinds are released into your favour.
