Jesus was a carpenter, not a fisherman, BUT he was telling Peter what to do, to cast his nets into the water... Peter did so, not out of his expertise but because Jesus said so (Luke 5:1-5)
ACCURATE and DEEP knowledge of the Word of God, is what is found in the DEEP.
2 Peter 1:2-4
Knowledge is not being able to read the scripture, it's UNDERSTANDING and APPLYING what you read.
You're not deep if you fail to give to God in the church and expect change.
Look for the promise concerning your circumstances and apply.
GOING DEEPER IS UNDERSTANDING GOD'S PURPOSE AND WILL FOR YOU
You must go deeper and find it. NOT looking for prophets to tell you what to do.
Abraham is called a prophet in the Bible, David was also a prophet. It's not about someone telling you your address or phone number that constitutes prophecy. Prophecy has to do with your future. And you'll be moving from prophet to prophet searching for answers but you'll only be frustrated. The answer is in GOING DEEPER in the word of God.
There are precious promises in the Word of God which we need to GO DEEPER AND COLLECT.

DON'T TALK OUT OF YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES.
And you know, even in your home, whatever you say is finished will finish, whatever you multiply will multiply.

What you don't know is eating you. When you know WHO you are, certain things around your life, you'll REFUSE them.
TO GO DEEPER REQUIRES OBEDIENCE.
